the German Consulate General in Miami is planning different building measures in early 2018 that will entail the closure of our offices for several weeks. During this period, passport applications cannot be processed at the Consulate General in Miami. You may, therefore, wish to now check the validity of your passport and apply for an early renewal if necessary. New German passports contain biometric features. Therefore all German residents from Florida and the Bamahas are required to apply in person at the Consulate General in Miami by appointment only!
The Consulate General accepts visa applications from residents of Florida, Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands only. All applications must be submitted in person.
