Ambassador Scharioth hosted the opening event of the Core Group Meeting of the Munich Security Conference at his residence. The Core Group Meeting is the first outreach meeting in the United States in the more than 40 years of existence of the Munich Security Conference, the most important meeting of its kind in Europe.
