Ambassador Ammon was in Alabama on April 8 to participate in the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Airbus final assembly line in Mobile. The new building will create 1,000 new jobs in the Mobile area.

Ambassador Ammon attended the US Holocaust Memorial Museum's annual Days of Remembrance Ceremony on Thursday, April 11 in the Capitol Rotunda. The event honors the survivors and liberators of the Holocaust. This year, the speakers emphasized those who risked their lives to stand up for what was right.
