Closing Announcement

The Embassy and Legal & Consular Department will be closed on Monday, September 4, and on Wednesday, September 6.

The Legal and Consular Section of the German Embassy in Washington DC will be closed from Thursday, October 12 to Monday, October 16, 2017.

Important Notice


For security reasons it is not allowed to bring cell phones, laptops, tablets and similar electronic devices onto the premises of the German Embassy. Visitors carrying unauthorized objects will not be granted entry.
