Stiftung Aufarbeitung: 20 Years of German Untiy
The Stiftung zur Aufarbeitung der SED-Diktatur is a government-funded foundation whose mission is to appraise the causes, history and impact of dictatorship in East Germany. The foundation has published a special English edition of its newsletter, which provides a comprehensive overview of the history of German unity and events across Germany marking the 20th anniversary of German Unity.

The GHI's "German History in Documents and Images" project provides selected primary sources in English relating to the peaceful revolution of 1989 and German unification. Newspaper reports, government documents and first-hand accounts put in context by a series of essays by prominent historians.
