In his speech, the Ambassador outlined the German Embassy’s Skills Initiative, which is aimed at enhancing skills training in the Charlotte region and beyond.

Volkswagen in Chattanooga unveiled its brand-new solar park last week. The 33,600 solar moduls are expected to provide 12.5 percent of the automaker’s electric energy needs. It is VW’s largest photovoltaic (PV) installation worldwide as well as Tennessee’s largest solar installation.
