Members of the Fort Benning community gathered at the Fort Benning cemetary on November 28th for the sixth annual German-Italian Memorial Day ceremony. This cemetary is the final resting place for 44 German and seven Italian soldiers captured as prisoners of war during World War II.

On November 14th, German and American business leaders came together at the 2nd CEO Roundtable for Carolinas' Advanced Manufacturing Companies – hosted by Bosch Rexroth in Charlotte, NC. The two dozen company executives evaluated results ignited by their first meeting in May 2012 and generated ideas to further develop the "Skills Initiative".
