Consul General Dr. Christian Brecht

Consul General Dr. Christian Brecht was born on August 13, 1949, and was brought up in Wiesbaden and Offenbach. He passed the final secondary school examinations in 1968 and completed his military service with the German Border Police in Bad Hersfeld. He is married and has two children.
He has been the German Consul General in Chicago since August 3, 2012.
