On Monday, November 3, the Houston Symphony presents the world-renowned Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra as they begin a concert tour of the United States in Houston, which is an official sister city of Leipzig, Germany since 1992.

Due to technical difficulties the Passport Department in Fort Bliss / El Paso, Texas (German Air Force Command USA/Canada in Fort Bliss) is unfortunately unable to accept passport applications at this time and will be closed until further notice.

For inquires about German passport procedures please refer to the germany.info/passport website or contact the German Consulate General Houston directly (contact information at www.germany.info/houston).

All German Passports, ID Cards, Visa Applicants and Certifications of signatures and Affidavit of support, need to arrange for an appointment in order to hand in their applications. Appointments can only be made online. Every family member needs a seperate appointment.
