To apply for a National Visa (more than 90 days), please make an appointment with the German Consulate General of
Applicants who have received a visa from the German Consulate General of Los Angeles since June 2014 or who have already submitted fingerprints to the Schengen authorities during a past visa application with another Schengen State are asked to send their applications to the German Consulate General of Los Angeles through the US Postal Service.

Consul General Hans Jörg Neumann attended the 23rd Annual Thea Awards Gala on April 22 in Anaheim, where Germany’s Mack Rides received a Thea Award for their Inverted Powered Coaster installed at Europa-Park in Rust, Germany.
Consul General Hans Jörg Neumann presided over the official ceremony in Phoenix on March 24 to bid farewell to outgoing German Honorary Consul in Arizona, Dr. Helge Jordan, and to inaugurate his successor, Mr. Wolf Kaufmann.

On Friday, March 10, Consul General Hans Jörg Neumann hosted a small reception in honor of Hans W. Eberhard who received a Commendation from the County of Los Angeles for 50 years of Distinguished Service to the German-American community.

Deputy Consul General Steinbrenner met with members of the Emerging Leaders in Environmental and Energy Policy Network (ELEEP) during their visit to California to explore climate change adaption with a focus on water scarcity.

Consul General Hans Jörg Neumann attended the ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the dedication of the Los Angeles Sister City Plaza in San Pedro. The city’s newest park will feature 25 flags that represent each Sister City of Los Angeles. This year, Berlin and Los Angeles will celebrate the 50th anniversary of Sister City partnership.
