The German American Chamber of Commerce, Inc. (GACC), Office for the Western United States, located in San Francisco in direct proximity to the Silicon Valley, is the official representation of German industry and trade. The GACC Office for the Western United States is the first point of contact for German companies interested in doing business in the U.S., particularly on the West Coast, providing support through a variety of services. Due to its location, the GACC Office for the Western United States focuses on primarily on progressive industries such as renewable energies, information technology, biotechnology, nanotechnology and semiconductors. We offer a variety of services including, but not limited to, representing German companies locally, finding business partners, assisting in negotiations, and creating market analyses and strategies to ensure a successful market entry.

German American Chamber of Commerce California
The German American Chamber of Commerce California, located in Downtown San Diego, promotes business relations, trade and cultural exchange between Germany and the U.S. It provides research services, visa support, assistance in legal matters, VAT and other tax services, internship placement, and more. One of the most used services is the Back-Office Program which allows German companies to use a fully developed office infrastructure in its prime Downtown location including workspace, conference room, phone, print and mailing service. GACC California shares its office with the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Office of the Honorary Consul of Germany, utilizing synergies which benefit our members, clients, partners and the general public.

Germany Trade and Invest is the new foreign trade and inward investment agency of the Federal Republic of Germany. It's mission is to promote Germany as a location for industrial and technological investments and to identify investors for the German market.
The Bavarian Ministry for Economic Affairs offers a wide range of customized and complimentary services and information to U.S. companies and investors interested in expanding to Bavaria.
