Goethe-Institut Los Angeles
As Germany's worldwide cultural arm, the Goethe-Institut promotes the German language, fosters international cultural cooperation and conveys a complete picture of Germany. The Goethe-Institut Los Angeles organizes and supports cultural events presenting Germany's cultural, social and political life and acts as a facilitator of intercultural exchange.
Villa Aurora
The artists residence and historic landmark, located in the former home of exiled German-Jewish writer Lion Feuchtwanger and his wife Marta, fosters German-American cultural exchange in memory of the European exiles that settled in Southern California. Villa Aurora offers public concerts, lectures, screenings and performances.
Los Angeles-Berlin Sister City Committee
The Los Angeles-Berlin Sister City Committee is an organization that brings Los Angeles and Berlin together. On June 27, 1967, Berlin became Los Angeles' 6th sister city and the committee's mission is to advance the relationship between these two prominent cities in every possible way: culturally, intellectually, commercially and socially. Among the organizations's primary activities are fund-raisers to promote social and cultural exchange between the two cities.
German Films Service + Marketing GmbH is the national information and advisory center and works to promote feature, documentary, television and short films worldwide. The U.S. representative is Oliver Mahrdt.

The Wende Museum
The Wende Museum is a collections-based research and education institute that preserves Cold War artifacts and history, makes resources available to scholars and opens its collections for viewing. It is open to the public Monday through Thursday by appointment from 10 A.M. to 5 P.M. (except on holidays). A tour of the Museum’s vault is offered every Friday at 3:00 P.M. Admission is free.
The German-American League,founded in 1905, is one of the oldest German-American organizations in California. Its purpose is to bring German-American clubs and groups together to foster the understanding and development of their German heritage and to promote the events and activities of the affiliated League members.
