Pension Payments for Employment in a Ghetto

(so-called ghetto pension as to ZRBG)

The German Federal Social Court (Bundessozialgericht) has recently set new standards for the recognition of periods of contributions completed in a ghetto. These new standards facilitate access to pensions under the ZRBG in numerous cases. Pending or rejected pension applications will be revised automatically, however, in some cases applications will have to be filed with the appropriate German authorities.
