American Association of Teachers of German (AATG)

The American Association of Teachers of German (AATG) is the only national individual membership organization dedicated to the advancement and improvement of language, literature, and culture of the German-speaking countries. With almost 5,500 members, the AATG is for teachers of German of all levels of instruction and all those interested in the teaching of German.

Transatlantic Outreach Program (TOP)

The Transatlantic Outreach Program seeks to provide American and Canadian Social Studies educators with information about modern Germany. TOP produces teaching materials, such as textbooks, videos, and posters, disseminates this content through hundreds of in-service teacher-training workshops every year, and sends educators to Germany every summer on all-expense-paid study tours.
