German Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women, and Youth
The German Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women, and Youth (BMFSFJ) funds extracurricular youth exchange programs, assists in bringing German and American youth groups together, and supports young leaders who work with youth.
Deutscher Bundesjugendring (DBJR)
The DBJR is an association of the central youth organizations in the Federal Republic of Germany to which the 16 state organizations also belong. Many of the member organizations of the DBJR conduct exchange programs with partners in the United States.
Internationaler Jugendaustausch und Besucherdienst der Bundesrepublik Deutschland (IJAB) e. V.
The IJAB is a national institution for the promotion of international youth cooperation. On behalf of the German Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth and the IJAB member associations, the IJAB conducts exchange programs between the United States and the Federal Republic of Germany for professionals working in different areas of youth policy and youth services.
