Ambassador Ammon attended the US Holocaust Memorial Museum's annual Days of Remembrance Ceremony on Thursday, April 11 in the Capitol Rotunda. The event honors the survivors and liberators of the Holocaust. This year, the speakers emphasized those who risked their lives to stand up for what was right.

Ewald-Heinrich von Kleist, the last surviving member of the 1944 plot to assassinate Hitler and the founder of what would become the Munich Security Conference, has passed away in Munich. He was 90 years old.
