Germany at Westland-Hialeah Senior High School
Invited by Guillermo A. Mu ñoz, the Principal and José E. Miranda, the School's International Relations Instructor at its Social Studies Department, Consul General Klaus Ranner gave a class about Germany's past, present and future for two groups of students. Being located in one of Greater Miami's hispanic strongholds, most of the students and faculty are at least bilingual, which certainly contributes to their vivid interest in cultural diversity and the world beyond the US boundaries. The Consul General had been there in the last school year and today's experience was an appropriate follow-up to his last visit.
