Election Party 2009 at the Goethe Institut San Francisco
Sep 27, 2009
More than 300 Germans gathered on the early morning of September 27 to follow live television coverage of the German federal elections. Whilst enjoying pretzels, typical German rolls and cold cuts, guests followed as the German evening unfolded with projections, political analyses and the famous "elephant round" - the first stock-taking of the heads of the parties elected to the German parliament that traditionally airs two hours after the polling stations have been closed.
