On September 30 Consul General Peter Rothen had the honor to welcome the first twenty students from the Bay Area that have passed the German language exam DSD I (Deutsches Sprachdiplom) in the German Consulate General. The students hail from the German Saturday School of the South Bay in San Jose, the German Saturday School of the East Bay in Oakland and from the BAKS+ in Berkeley. Parents and teachers joined the students and Consul General Rothen in celebration.
