The RIAS Berlin program provides young German journalists the unique opportunity to travel to the US and gather information on current affairs and complete a short internship in broadcast journalism. During their first week in Washington D.C. the fellows are participating in round table talks concerning politics, economy, media and social topics. In the second week all 12 RIAS fellows will be able to complete a short-term internship at a radio or television station. In the third week all fellows will meet up in New York to enjoy the different culture programs of the city.
RIAS Berlin Commission also provides a fellowship program in Germany for young American journalists.
