Munich Philharmonic: Kammermusik

As a part of the Munich Philharmonic’s 2017 international tour, the German Consulate General will host a special performance by members of the orchestra featuring beloved chamber works by W.A. Mozart and Franz Schubert.
The Munich Philharmonic was founded in 1893 by the son of a piano manufacturer, Franz Kaim, and has since become one of the world’s leading orchestras for over 100 years. Featured members of the orchestra who will be performing include - Laszlo Kuti (Principal Clarinet), Clement Courtin (Violin), Valentin Eichler (Viola), and Manuel von der Nahmer (Cello). The concert will also include world-renowned guest artists, Soprano Anastasiya Roytman and Violinist Christopher Coritsidis.
The evening’s program will include Mozart’s Clarinet Quintet in A, K.581, ‘Parto, parto’ from La clemenza di Tito, and Hirt auf den Felsen, D.965 by Franz Schubert.
