“In Face of the Crime”, a series of ten episodes, is a depiction of Russian-Jewish culture, detailing the emotions and mindsets of various ethnic groups, their religious roots, family life, traditions and celebrations. “In Face of the Crime” reveals a panorama of diverse communities and journeys through an array of worlds, from a village in the Ukraine to life in the urban sprawl of Berlin. “In Face of the Crime” recounts not only the criminal motivations, temptations and seductions of the milieu, but also reveals the people who want to bring about change, who have ideals, who believe in their community and are prepared to fight for it together.
