A European Embassy Science Series Event:

The American Geophysical Union (AGU) and the German GEOTECHNOLOGIEN Coordination Office present American and German experts on Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) to discuss the viability of CCS in Germany and the US.

Both countries have been working on different aspects of CO2 sequestration, transport, storage, and usage for many years. Four keynote talks will address the scientific, economic,and political aspects of these projects in both countries.

Followed by a panel discussion with ample time for questions, and a reception at the German embassy.
