The world-famous Tölzer Knabenchor will give a special Alpenländische Weihnachtskonzert (Alpine Christmas Concert) with rarely performed, traditional Christmas songs from German-speaking Alpine areas, like Bavaria, Austria, and Italy.

The Tölzer Knabenchor was founded in 1956 by conductor and music director Prof. Gerhard Schmid-Gaden. Each year the different groups of the choir perform in almost 250 concerts around the world.

A reception with German Christmas cookies will follow.

All proceeds will go to the Friends of "German School Washington".
