New Honorary Consul in Arizona

In this function Dr. Jordan, born in 1969 in Leverkusen, succeeds Bernard Otremba-Blanc who retired after 10 years of service for the Federal Republic of Germany. Dr. Jordan who studied chemistry in Germany and worked for McKinsey & Company and the Henckel Group prior to establishing his own consulting firm, Jordan Strategy Consultants in 2008, has lived in the country since 2003.
He is very committed to fostering the excellent relationship between Germany and Arizona especially in the field of business and trade, science and education as well as further strengthening the cultural ties between the German and American people. He also looks forward to continued cooperation with German representatives and businesses in the state including Lufthansa, the Bundeswehr, and TÜV. He is the director of the Phoenix chapter of the American Council on Germany and is a member of several learned societies.

Dr. Jordan’s consular district comprises the state of Arizona and in his capacity as Honorary Consul he will offer consular assistance primarily to German nationals. Furthermore, he will focus on promoting German-American cooperation and will represent Germany on official occasions.
