Memorandum of Understanding signed

In the presence of several members of the School Board, principals, education officials, the President of the German International Parents Association and the German Language Adviser, the Superintendent of Schools of Miami-Dade County, Alberto Carvalho and German Consul General Klaus Ranner on July 13, 2010 signed a Memorandum of Understanding concerning the tuition of German language at Miami-Dade schools. The MoU replaces a similar document which had been concluded more than a decade ago. It creates a basis for the enlargement of language and cultural education for Miami-Dade students in the most widely spoken language in Europe.
