The Weather took the first annual EarthFest in Coral Gables very serious and delivered almost everything it has to offer with a few exceptions like snow and hail. Brief but heavy rainstorms, quick flooding, gusty winds mixed into the for the most part beautiful and sunny day. Despite the weather, many people came out to enjoy the event which took place in the heart of Coral Gables. EarthFest is a celebration of planet friendly activities, exhibits and vendors geared to encourage environmental responsibility and sustainable practices.

The German Consulate General together with the German American Business Chamber hosted a booth which was a great success. As the day went on, many of the yellow T-Shirts which were distributed by the Consulate and promoted the Transatlantic Climate Bridge could be seen all over. www.Germany.info/climatebridge
