Application Deadline Extended to July 31st for the 2013 International Parliamentary Scholarships (IPS) in Berlin
Are you interested in international politics? Would you like to gain insight into the workings of German democracy as part of the staff of a Member of the German Federal Parliament, the Bundestag? Are you intrigued by the prospect of spending five months in the cultural metropolis Berlin with colleagues from around Europe, Russia, Central Asia and Israel?
Every year, around 115 young people from 28 countries have the opportunity to take part in the International Parliamentary Scholarship (IPS) program in Berlin. IPS offers recent college graduates a 15-week internship in the office of a Member of the Bundestag. Alongside the internship there is an academic program organized by Berlin’s internationally renowned universities and the German political foundations. With all of that, plus the fun of getting to know people from other nations, a unique experience awaits you in the exciting and vibrant German capital.
*The 2013 IPS Program begins March 1, 2013, and ends July 31.
