(© REGIERUNGonline) With the start of the new year the German Government has launched a totally revised main website at www.bundesregierung.de. This central Internet platform  now contains much easier access to news, features and government social media profiles, like YouTube and Twitter, through an even more clearly arranged modern design.

The new website contains up-to-date information’s about German Government Policies and its main issues, like Afghanistan, Europe and sustainability, presented in a multimedia format. Bundesregierung.de is also a gateway to the sites of all the federal ministries.

The site is available in English and French. For hearing impaired users, a selection of videos, such as the Chancellor’s New Year’s greeting, now include sign language. And for users who have difficulty reading, a portion of the site features content in large-print, simplified language.

Bundesregierung.de is published by the Press and Information Office of the Federal Government.
