Ambassadors Conference: "The Future of Europe"

The spotlight issue at this year’s Ambassadors Conference, which will take place from August 27 to 30, is “The future of Europe.”

Foreign Minister Westerwelle will be opening the conference on Monday, August 27, along with his Belgian and Polish counterparts, Didier Reynders and Radosław Sikorski.

The four-day conference will be attended by a host of prominent figures from the spheres of politics, business and culture.

In over 70 forums and workshops with experts from Germany and other countries, the ambassadors will explore European policy issues and other key questions for the future.

On Tuesday, August 28, the Business Forum will be opened by Foreign Minister Westerwelle and Economics Minister Philipp Rösler. Foreign Minister Westerwelle and Anshu Jain, co-CEO of Deutsche Bank AG, will participate in the concluding panel discussion.
