The City of Savannah and the City of Halle, Germany signed a Twinning Agreement on the evening of October 20th formalizing a relationship dating back more than 275 years.

The "Kiepenkasper" Visits Schools in Southeastern US

During November 7-10, renowned puppeteer Uwe Spillmann brought his "Kiepenkasper" to life for several hundred young German learners at eight schools in Charlotte, Atlanta, Miami and Fort Lauderdale.

"Das Haus" - Real-World Demonstration of High Energy Efficiency Technology Visits Atlanta

More than 12,000 visitors attended the exhibit "Das Haus" during its 10-day stay in Atlanta from October 17th - 26th, 2011. "Das Haus", a traveling pavilion, showcased the latest energy efficiency solutions from Germany.

German-Italian Memorial Day at Fort Benning, Georgia

Members of the Fort Benning community gathered at the Fort Benning cemetary on November 16th for the fifth annual German-Italian Memorial Day ceremony.
