Wolfgang Krüger, Director of the Goethe-Zentrum/German Cultural Center Atlanta was honored by Consul General Lutz Görgens as the first recipient of the Boltzius Award for his excellent work in promoting German language and culture.

Volkswagen Chattanooga Hires First 100 New Production Team Members

Volkswagen Chattanooga has hired the first group of about 100 employees from its variable workforce provided by Aerotek. These jobs represent hiring in addition to the previous 2000 Volkswagen team members already hired.

Adrienne Haan in Concert: "Berlin - mon amour"

Berlin, mon amour is a tribute to 1920s and 30s Germany featuring songs of the Weimar Berlin Period, Degenerate Music, as well as chansons of Marlene Dietrich's movie era. This stage show is a fiery explosion of Big Band Swing and an enigmatic Adrienne Haan.
