Exhibition: "It Took a While to Find These Things"
|
|
The OMC Gallery will be presenting the group exhibition, with the title that not only humorously reflects the process of gathering the different pieces for exhibiting, but also describes the process of their creation. The exhibition runs from May 20-July 11, 2009. A reception will be held on Saturday, May 30, between 4:00-6:00 pm.

Pentecost Sunday Church Service and Invitation to Baptism

On Pentecost, Mt. Olive Lutheran Church will celebrate the gift of the Holy Spirit with a service in Gerrman. The church also invites you to celebrate Baptism and Membership on this day, May 31, 2009.

New Mastodon Bookstore Benefit

Los Angeles poets, musicians, writers and German-speaking literati will turn out to support the independent German bookstore and cultural meeting place, New Mastodon, at a benefit on June 4, 2009.

Every year, 100 young people from 25 countries have the opportunity to take part in the International Parliamentary Scholarship (IPS) program in Berlin. The application deadline is June 30, 2009.
