Due to Popular Demand, the Play Has Been Extended! USC’s Max Kade Institute for Austrian-German-Swiss Studies in cooperation with The MET Theatre Hollywood and the German-American Cultural Society presents Heydrich-Hitler-Holocaust by Cornelius Schnauber.

Concert: 17 Hippies from Berlin

Berlin’s very own “orchester spezial” will play its whirling, crashing, diving, bobbing and weaving mixture of music that morphs French songs, English ballads and international rhythms into a captivating cocktail of sound.

German Winemaker Dinner

Gordon Ramsay at the London West Hollywood presents a German Winemakers dinner on September 9, 2009. Five different wines with corresponding menus will be served.

CleanTech Summit at Southwestern Law School
|
|
On Friday, September 18, 2009, Southwestern Law School will host the “Summit on CleanTech Law and the New Energy Policy.” This cutting-edge event will explore CleanTech developments at the local, state, and federal levels and examine renewable energy models from other countries such as Germany and Spain, which are leading the way in this area.

Traveling Exhibition: Berlin Kreuzberg SO36
|
|
The traveling exhibition Berlin Kreuzberg SO36 compares photographs from 1986 which depict how this city district was enclosed on three sides by the Berlin Wall with images of the reunited city, in 2006, seventeen years after the fall of the Berlin Wall. The exhibition is scheduled to travel to a number of cities in the US and Canada.

The German American League of Southern California celebrated its annual German Day on Sunday, August 23, at the Phoenix Club in Anaheim. Michael Ott, new Consul for Cultural and Press Affairs attended the festivities.
