Welcome to the latest edition of our newsletter NYConsulate Events! The German Consulate wishes you all the best for the New Year and proudly presents the first two events of a long list of German cultural activities scheduled for 2010. German pianist Benjamin Moser will perform at the Morgan Library and Museum on January 20, 2010, as part of the "Young Concert Artists" series presenting three one-hour piano recitals at 12 noon. Spend your lunchtime enjoying works of Mendelssohn, Beethoven, Chopin and Rachmaninoff, performed by an outstanding young talent. Later this month, the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum presents a solo exhibition of Berlin-based artist Tino Sehgal, featuring two works adapted and expanded by the artist to fill the unique spiraling architecture of the building. The exhibition will be on display from January 29 to March 20, 2010, including an "24 Hour Ideathon" in February. We hope to see you at one of these events.
