Dear Friends of the German Consulate General, Welcome to the latest edition of our newsletter NYConsulate Events!
It's a German habit to watch and read the "Grimms Märchen" during the season and we would like to bring this tradition a little closer to you. See our latest article about the Fairy Tales of the Brothers Grimm. You can also win a copy of the new Taschen book! Just send an email to: germanconsulatenyc[at]gmail.com and let us know the name of the translator!
Let Wim Wenders take you on a stunning journey through Pina Bausch's world in the documentary "Pina." You'll be able to see this film for only one week here in New York, starting tomorrow (morning) at the IFC Center.
Mark your calendar: The ReelAbilities Film Festival screens "Renn, wenn Du kannst" on February 11, 2012 at the Festival's main location- the JCC in Manhattan.
We hope to see you at one of these events!
