Remember the tales of the Grimm Brothers? The Shades of Grey, a new multi arts organization from New York, will present you Sterntaler- The Star Money on March 24 and 25 at Space on White.
GCRI and University of Cologne host a fascinating discussion with expert panelists working on the cutting edge of immunology, "When Our Skin Fails to Protect Us: A Conversation About Disorders Affecting Skin and Hair" on Monday, March 26 at 6.30 p.m.
Susanne Kippenberger, sister of renowned artist Martin Kippenberger, takes you on a journey of the life and work of her brother at the Goethe-Institut Wyoming Building on Monday, March 26 at 7 p.m.
We still have room for you at our upcoming events at the German Consulate. Join us for the exhibition opening of "Cowboys and Indians" by Marc Ohrem-Leclef on Tuesday, March 27 at 6 p.m. or for the concert "German Poets and Musicians on the Road" on Thursday, March 29 at 6 p.m. Both events are free of charge. The German Consulate General New York hosts Marc Ohrem-Leclef’s first US exhibtion, “Cowboys and Indians.” The exhibtion will be on view from March 27 through April 27, with an exhibition opening on March 27 at 6 p.m. Free admission. RSVP required.

Pianist Evelyn Ulex returns to the German House for a unique performance of music and readings with actor Hartmut Becker on March 29.

SECRETS by Ken Wydro (presented in German)

After a successful reading at the Austrian Cultural Forum, a theatrical performance of the original drama SECRETS by Broadway Producer Ken Wydro will be presented as a Showcase Production in German on March 16, 17 and 18 at the Mama Foundation in Harlem. There will be a Q&A session afterwards.

Kippenberger: The Artist and His Families

The Goethe-Institut New York hosts an evening with Susanne Kippenberger about her acclaimed biography “Kippenberger: The Artist and His Families” (J & L Books, 2012) and the life and work of her brother, German artist Martin Kippenberger. The reading and discussion will be held on Monday, March 26 at 7 p.m. at the Goethe-Institute Wyoming Building.
