The Consulate Soccer Team played a friendly on Sunday, December 11 against the FC Miami Beach at the German American Social Club of Greater Miami. In a dramatic game the Consulate was always up, but the Miami Beach team was playing well and equalizing twice, ending with a 4:3 win for the Consulate.

More than 110 guests attended the opening night reception on Nov. 29 for the Images of Science exhibition now open through Dec. 30 at the Palm Beach Photographic Centre. Hosted by the Max Planck Florida Foundation, this is the U.S. debut of the exhibit that features 40 images of scientific research from around the world.
