Spot the Bus "Germany — Land of Ideas"
Hope you had a chance to grab your camera!
The contest is now over. From October through December 2007, participants could look for the "Germany — Land of Ideas" Metrobus on the streets of Washington, DC, for a chance to enter the "Spot the Bus" Contest on Germany.info with a photo and an essay and possibly win a trip to Germany.
Thomas Higgins has been selected randomly from the best entries as the Grand Prize winner. He will receive a seven-day trip to Germany, featuring stops in Munich, Dresden and Berlin and a tour of BMW World, all sponsored by BMW.
In addition, one winner a month for October, November and December will receive an Apple iPod® Shuffle.
The bus featured photos from the "Walk of Ideas", six giant sculptures on display in Berlin in the summer of 2006 representing the inventiveness and wealth of ideas in Germany.
Many of you saw the bus, grabbed your digital cameras or camera-phones and took a picture. You then entered the contest by submitting the photo and giving us your most creative and compelling response to: "My reasons to love Germany are..."
