Agenda 2010 Brochure Available in English

Agenda 2010, Questions and Answers is now available for download in English.

This 2004 updated version of the public information brochure on the reform program of the Federal Government was published in hard copy and as a downloadable PDF on 16 February by the Press and Information Office of the Federal Government.

In addition to questions and answers on Agenda 2010, the brochure details the central themes of the Agenda: the economy, training, taxes, education and research, the labor market, health, pensions and family support. A glossary explains the important terms from "Training offensive" through to "Forecasts for growth". A preface by the Chancellor introduces the brochure. Sixty pages of data, facts, background information and service telephone numbers provide an overview of all the reforms.

Chancellor Gerhard Schröder presented Agenda 2010 to the German Bundestag in his government statement of 14 March 2003. The German Bundesrat and Bundestag have since adopted all the reform plans.
