FOAMY WINE SAUCE (Weinschaumsosse)
The foamy wine sauce, a very German dish, is a sweet sauce served with a variety of desserts. It is excellent with apples, peeled and steamed in a mixture of water and white wine. Ingredients: 4 eggs Foam eggs with sugar and cornstarch. Meanwhile heat the wine and stir slowly into mixture, add the lemon juice. Mix again until light and frothy. Guten Appetit!
