Beethoven Society Monday Concert Series Continues with "Dances"

New York: Scharioth and Solana talk one on one at the alumni dinner.

The Beethoven Society of America puts on a lively program of monthly concerts at the German Embassy in Washington, as well as receptions and other musical events. By sponsoring competitions, scholarships and concerts with professional musicians, the society especially supports talented young musicians. Its annual Maria Fisher Piano Competition for Young Soloists attracts highly qualified young pianists from the Washington area.

The society's next Monday evening concert will be on February 19 at the German Embassy. Martin Piecuch, saxophone, and Raymond Jackson, piano, will present "Dances with Saxophone" in an unusual change of pace for the society.

For information and to purchase tickets, go to the website of the Beethoven Society of America.
