More than half of all Americans have a positive view of Germany, according to a survey of US citizens released recently. Across the Atlantic, separate surveys concluded that a majority of Germans approve of the US president and his handling of international policies.

Child Entries in Passports of Parents To Become Invalid as of June 26, 2012

European requirements have resulted in a major change in the German passport law: Starting June 26, 2012, child entries in the passports of parents will become invalid and no longer entitle the child to cross the border to another country.  Therefore, starting June 26, 2012, all children (from birth on) will have to have their own travel documents when traveling to other countries.
