(Die Rote)"
Fed up with a disappointing marriage and an equally
disillusioning affair, Franziska leaves her husband and her
lover and heads for Venice. There she finds a job at a hotel
and meets a man who turns out to be an ex-spy, and who implicates
her in a criminal case. Trapped in her new life as well as
her old she must find a way out for herself.

(Der Hauptmann von Köpenick)

Released after serving time for a petty
crime, an impoverished shoemaker ( Heinz Ruehmann) is keen to
make a fresh start, but finds himself mired in bureaucracy until
he stumbles across a second-hand captain’s uniform. He
decides to wear the uniform and embarks on a quest to fool the
entire German army. A true German classic.

closes out another year of HOLLYWOOD TALKS SHOP,
where German Hollywood personalities share their insights
into the movie industry and provide an entertaining and informative
look behind the scenes.

Christian’s
credits include movies like Shrek
2, The Road to El Dorado, and this summer’s Over
the Hedge.
In addition to showing clips of his work, Christian
will guide the audience through the history of animation,
from hand-drawn sketches to computer generated images.
