The Embassy is located west of Georgetown University Hospital.

Driving
When driving from downtown on M Street or the Whitehurst Freeway Or coming from Virginia via the Key Bridge

  1. Take Canal Road west (straight from M. Street, left turn from Whitehurst Freeway or Key Bridge).
  2. Bear right onto Foxhall Road.
  3. Turn left onto Reservoir Road.
  4. The Embassy will be on the right.

When driving from the North or via the Beltway/I-495.

  1. Take Wisconsin Avenue (Beltway Exit 34) south into Georgetown.
  2. Turn right onto Reservoir Road.
  3. Cross Foxhall Road.
  4. The Embassy will be on the right.

When driving from the West

  1. Take the George Washington Memorial Parkway (Beltway/I-495 Exit 14).
  2. Take the exit for Chain Bridge Road
  3. Turn left to cross the Chain Bridge.
  4. Turn right onto Canal Road.
  5. Turn left onto Arizona Avenue.
  6. Turn right onto MacArthur Boulevard.
  7. At split, bear left to take Reservoir Road.
  8. The Embassy will be on the left.

Parking
Visitors must park on the street.

Public Transit
Metrobus routes with stops on Reservoir Road: D3 and D6.
These buses connect with Metrorail at the Farragut North and Farragut West stations. There is no Metrorail station within easy walking distance of the Embassy.
