Germany.info Presents Interactive Christmas Market Advent Calendar

Christmas is a time of reflection and joy. Now the German Embassy in Washington DC is adding a third dimension: lots of fun with its interactive Advent Calendar featuring a comic-style German Christmas market full of surprises, starting on Dec. 1, 2007.

Come in and enjoy the market, discovering the booths with their unique offerings, and the people, who will tell you all about Christmas in Germany. Or write to Santa to enter a drawing to win some great Christmas goodies: an iPod nano, an iPod shuffle or one of 10 fashionable Germany.info T-shirts.

Christmas markets large and small —featuring handcrafted ornaments and gifts, not to mention delicious treats—are just one of the beloved traditions of the holiday season in Germany.
