Allied Museum Brings Elvis Back to Germany
Elvis Presley went to Germany to serve on a tour of duty in
the U.S. Army 50 years ago. Oct. 1, 2008, will mark the exact day
of his arrival in Germany. To honor this historic anniversary, the
Allied Museum in Berlin has mounted a special exhibition about Sergeant
Elvis Presley and his time in the military in Germany from 1958
to 1960.
