Together with his counterparts from France and Italy, Foreign Minister Heiko Maas is hosting a foreign ministers’ meeting as part of the Berlin Process on Libya. The next objective is to stay on the ball with international partners to ensure that elections can be held in Libya on 24 December.
On 20 September Foreign Minister Maas will fly to New York to attend the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
The Second World War began in September 1939 with Germany’s invasion of Poland. It was here that the demonic violence of the racial-ideological war of annihilation in Central and Eastern Europe became apparent for the first time, bringing immeasurable suffering to the country’s people.
