Join the Center for German and European Studies at Brandeis for a Catan Competition on Nov. 14th! Whether you're new to the game, have some experience, or consider yourself an expert - all are welcome.

Games will begin shortly after 5:00pm and snacks will be provided.

Created by Klaus Teuber in 1995, Settlers of Catan was the first German style board game to gain major popularity outside of Europe. Still widely played today, the game emphasizes how development is dependent on trade.
