Max Raabe and his 12-piece Palast Orchester will bring Weimar-era cabaret to life at the Berklee Performance Center on April 14, 2018.

Max Raabe and his 12-piece Palast Orchester bring Weimar-era cabaret to life by meticulously recreating music of the 1920s and 1930s with elegance, verve, and humor. Their new critically-acclaimed show Let's Do It finds the German band taking on the American Songbook with a program stacked with standards like "Stormy Weather," "Over My Shoulder," and "Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf?," along with the German counterparts written in the late 1920s. Hilarious songs like "When I Need Love, I Go to Pauline," romances like "Women Are So Beautiful When They Love," and classics like Kurt Weill's "Bilbao Song" are cleverly woven into a highly entertaining evening that bridges time and space.
